Thank you to all who attended this first Known World Newcomers Symposium!

The Known World Newcomers Symposium (KWNS from here forward) was held virtually via Zoom on November 30, 2024. The lobby opened starting at 7:30AM central standard time (CST), with classes starting at 8:00AM CST.

The Symposium hosted a day of classes teaching about the SCA. From who we are and where we came from, to all of the different kinds of activities we participate in, how to get started in your local area, and much much more.

Whilst there was a focus on introducing newcomers to the SCA, there were also classes for aspiring chatelaines, networking opportunities with people from the entire “Known World”, and a great knowledge base that should be valuable for anyone involved with the SCA.
